Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:54 PM NST 7 December 2024 A low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea will move northof the Labrador Sea and remain nearly stationary this evening while
gradually weakening. Strong to gale force west to southwesterlies
over northern waters will slowly diminish as the low weakens.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, and Belle Isle Bank.
