Issued 10:00 AM ADT 12 March 2025 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today trough located from the Gulf of St. Lawrence
to Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing trough located over Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight building ridge located over the
St. Lawrence River.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Thursday ridge located over the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:45 AM ADT 12 March 2025 A trough of low pressure stretching from the Gulf of St. Lawrence to
Nova Scotia will move east of the marine district today. Strong to
gale force westerlies in the wake of the trough will diminish later
today as a ridge of high pressure builds in from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti. Freezing spray warnings are in effect
for Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou, and Anticosti.
