Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:51 AM ADT 25 May 2018 A trough of low pressure will push down from the north today.
Increasing southwesterly winds will reach strong to gale force over
southern waters this afternoon ahead of the trough. Winds will
gradually diminish on Saturday as the area of low pressure moves
eastward towards Newfoundland.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau and Laurentian
