Showers or flurries this morning. Flurries early this afternoon. Visibility 1 mile or less in precipitation.

Freezing spray warning in effect.

Over open water freezing spray beginning near noon and ending overnight.

Temperatures plus 2 falling to minus 7 near noon Thursday.

New Brunswick.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing trough located over Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight building ridge located over the
St. Lawrence River.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:47 AM ADT 12 March 2025 A trough of low pressure over New Brunswick will travel east across
the marine district today. Strong to gale force southerly winds will
develop ahead of the trough then shift to strong to gale force
westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and
Anticosti. Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Cabot Strait,
Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou, and Anticosti.
