Wind southeast 35 knots with gusts to 65 from Margaree Harbour to Bay St. Lawrence. Wind diminishing to southerly 25 this morning and to south 15 to 20 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to variable 10 to 15 this evening then increasing to northeast 25 near midnight. Wind increasing to northeast 30 Monday morning then backing to north 25 Monday evening.

Rain changing to scattered showers this afternoon and ending Monday afternoon. Fog patches dissipating Monday morning.

By 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 1000 mb located over Grand Manan.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1002 mb located near Lurcher.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Monday low 1006 mb located over Fourchu.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:47 AM ADT 27 April 2025 A low pressure system is slowly tracking eastward across the
Maritimes today. Strong to gale force southerlies ahead of the system
will move east of the marine district tonight while strong to near
gale force northerlies will build on Monday in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half and Gulf-Magdalen - eastern half.
