Over open water freezing spray beginning near noon Wednesday.

Issued 3:30 PM ADT 11 March 2025 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located on a line north-south over
the eastern Marine District.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday ridge located over the Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough located near the St. Lawrence River.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday trough located from Anticosti Island
to the Gulf of Maine.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday weakening trough located over the
eastern Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM ADT 11 March 2025 A trough of low pressure approaching the district from the west will
cross the marine district later tonight. Strong to gale force
southerly winds will develop ahead of the trough then shift to strong
to gale force westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and
Anticosti. Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Gulf-Magdalen,
Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
