northwest-southeast over the Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:22 PM ADT 16 June 2026 A trough of low pressure stretching from the Gaspé Peninsula toLaurentian Fan will move eastward across the district today and
tonight. Strong to gale force southeasterly winds ahead of the trough
will shift to generally moderate to strong westerlies over most
waters in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half and Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half.
