Issued 3:00 AM AST 12 November 2019 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. AST today warm front from 1008 mb low located from
Cape Cod to Cabot Strait.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday warm front from 994 mb low located on
a line northeast-southwest over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

At 3:00 a.m. AST today cold front from 1008 mb low located over
the East Coast of the U.S.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday cold front from 994 mb low located from
Anticosti Island to West Scotian Slope.

By 3:30 p.m. AST Wednesday cold front located on a line north-south
over Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:44 AM AST 12 November 2019 A low pressure system lying over the Gulf of Maine this morning will
track over Southern New Brunswick this afternoon and into the Gulf of
St. Lawrence by early Wednesday morning. A strong warm front
extending from the low through the Gulf of St. Lawrence will have
strong to gale force southwesterlies developing south of the front
and strong to gale force northeasterlies to the north of the front.
On Wednesday, most regions will see strong to gale force
northwesterlies in the wake of the low, especially over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore - eastern half,
Fourchu, Banquereau - northern half, Cabot Strait, Northumberland
Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, Chaleur - Miscou, and Anticosti.

Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.

Lfa36 today..Winds northeast 15 to 20 increasing to south 20 early
this morning. Winds veering to southwest 25 near noon then to
northwest 20 to 25 late this evening. Seas less than 1 metre becoming
1 to 2 metres late this morning then building to 2 metres in the
afternoon with choppy seas as winds blow against the ebbing tide.

Wednesday..Winds northwest 25 to 30 knots. Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Thursday..Winds northwest 20 becoming light early in the morning then
increasing to southwest 15 in the evening. Seas less than 1 metre.

Friday..Winds southwest 20 to 25 knots increasing to southwest 30
early in the morning. Seas 1 metre or less increasing to 1 to 2 in
the morning and 2 to 3 in the afternoon. Choppy seas in the
afternoon.
