Issued 3:00 AM ADT 1 April 2025 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today warm front located from the Gaspe Peninsulato Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT today departing warm front located northeast of
the Marine District.
At 10:00 a.m. ADT today cold front located from the Gulf of Maine
to Anticosti Island.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday cold front located on a line north-south
over the Grand Banks.
At 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday approaching ridge located over the Gulf
of Maine.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:48 AM ADT 1 April 2025 A warm front over Anticosti will continue moving northeastward to lienorth of the marine district later this morning. Strong easterlies
are expected ahead of this warm front.
A cold front currently over the Gulf of Maine will track eastward
across the marine district today and tonight to lie over the Grand
Banks overnight tonight. Strong to gale force southwesterlies ahead
of the cold front shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies
behind it.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Fundy, Grand Manan, southwestern shore, eastern
shore-western half, Cabot Strait-southern half and Northumberland
Strait.
