Issued 8:00 PM ADT 19 April 2025 Tonight and Sunday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1003 mb located over Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Sunday intensifying low 1000 mb located near the
Gaspe Peninsula.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday low 996 mb located over the northeastern
Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday low 983 mb located over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:23 PM ADT 19 April 2025 A low pressure system over Maine will move to lie over the Gaspé
Peninsula overnight tonight. The low will then intensify on Sunday as
it moves slowly eastward across the Northern Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Winds will be strong to gale force southwesterlies over southern
waters tonight. On Sunday, winds will become strong to gale force
west or northwesterlies over the entire marine district as the low
intensifies.

On Sunday evening, winds over most of the Gulf of St. Lawrence are
forecast to increase to gale to possibly storm force northwesterlies.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
