Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. AST today low 986 mb located over the Gulf of Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing low 982 mb located over
Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over New England.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:00 AM AST 28 November 2022 A low pressure system over the Gulf of Maine will track across
The district to lie over Newfoundland this evening. Gale to storm
force southwesterlies will prevail near and south of the low.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope and East Scotian Slope.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Fundy,
Grand Manan, Northumberland Strait - western half and Chaleur-Miscou.
A freezing spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.

Outlook for the start of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.

Tuesday...

Lfa33: winds north 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 in the morning
then to light in the afternoon. Seas 2 metres diminishing to 1 metre
late in the afternoon.

Lfa34: winds north 20 to 25 knots diminishing to north 15 to 20 in
