Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:16 PM AST 23 November 2020 An intensifying low pressure system over Maine will track over the
northern marine district tonight and across Southeastern Labrador on
Tuesday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of the low will
shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.
Over northern and eastern waters, gale to storm force south to
southeasterlies will shift to gale to storm force northwesterlies and
colder air in the wake of this system.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters. A freezing
spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.
