Issued 10:00 AM AST 18 February 2026 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. AST today departing low 967 mb located over the
eastern Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today trough located from New Brunswick to the
Gulf of Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Thursday dissipating trough located over the
eastern Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. AST Thursday ridge located west of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:39 AM AST 18 February 2026 An intense low pressure system over the Eastern Grand Banks will
continue moving northeastward into the Labrador Sea today. Gale force
northerlies over extreme eastern waters diminish to strong westerlies
this morning.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau - southeastern half and Laurentian Fan - eastern half.
