Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:30 PM AST 15 November 2018 An intense low pressure system east of Newfoundland will continue to
track eastward tonight. Gale force northwesterlies in the wake of the
low will continue to gradually diminish as the low moves further away
over the northern Atlantic and a ridge of high pressure builds in
from the west.

On Friday a second low pressure system will track across the region.
At this time it is expected that this low pressure system will track
across Nova Scotia, from the southwest to the northeast. There
remains uncertainty in the final track and intensity of this system.
Slight changes in the track of this low could significantly change
some of the marine forecasts, especially for regions that border Nova
Scotia and New Brunswick. There is also a possibility that storm
force southeasterlies ahead of this low may develop over southwestern
waters on Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Chaleur - Miscou.
