Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:00 AM AST 14 November 2019 A cold strong to gale force west to northwesterly flow will diminish
to light by this afternoon as a ridge of high pressure builds over
the Maritimes. As the ridge moves eastward and a trough approaches
from the west, winds will increase to strong to gale force
southerlies overnight tonight and Friday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwestern shore, eastern shore,
Fourchu, Banquereau - northern half, Cabot Strait, and all of the
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
