At 3:30 p.m. AST today approaching ridge located west of the
Great Lakes.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:21 PM AST 6 March 2021 A low pressure system over Southwestern Labrador will graduallyweaken tonight. Strong westerlies across the district are still
expected. Occasionally the westerlies may reach gale force over
Western Anticosti until this evening. As the low moves eastward, the
westerly winds will begin to subside overnight.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Anticosti - western half.
Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Cabot
Strait - northern half, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti.
