of the Grand Banks.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 995 mb located southwest of the
Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 989 mb located south of West Scotian
Slope.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:36 AM ADT 10 May 2024 A low pressure system will develop southwest of the marine districton Saturday and intensify as its tracks northeastward.
The disturbance is forecast to lie just south of West Scotian Slope
by Saturday evening. Strong to gale force northeasterly winds will
spread across southern marine waters north of the low.
Mariners are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Georges
Bank, West Scotian Slope and East Scotian Slope.
