By 10:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday ridge located northeast of the Marine
District.
At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from Georges Bank to
Laurentian Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Tuesday trough located from Browns Bank to
Banquereau.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:51 PM ADT 7 April 2025 An east-west trough will move over southwestern waters tonight andwill extend east to Laurentian Fan on Tuesday. South of the trough
strong to gale force southwesterlies will spread across slope waters
throughout the day. Westerly gales will develop over western waters
Tuesday night.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope,
East Scotian Slope - southeastern half, Banquereau - southeastern
half and Laurentian Fan.
