Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:27 PM ADT 22 September 2018 A cold front will continue to sweep through the marine district this
afternoon before exiting the region later this evening.
Ahead of the cold front, strong to gale force southwesterly winds
will persist over eastern waters into this evening. In its wake,
strong to gale force northwesterly winds will begin to gradually
diminish this evening, except over northern waters where westerly
winds are forecast to remain strong.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou, and
Atlantic - Maritimes Area
