Issued 3:04 PM AST 11 November 2024 A low pressure system will move from the Great Lakes into the Gulf ofSt Lawrence. Strong to gale force southerly winds are
Expected over southern waters today.
A second low pressure system over Maine tonight will move to lie
southeast of Nova Scotia by Tuesday evening. Gale force northerlies
will develop behind this low Tuesday afternoon.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope,
Laurentian Fan, Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen - western half,
and Chaleur-Miscou - eastern half.
Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.
