By 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday trough located over the St. Lawrence
River.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:03 AM ADT 22 October 2024 A ridge of high pressure is forecast to track southeastward acrossthe Maritimes today to lie over the Grand Banks on Wednesday.
Meanwhile a trough of low pressure will approach the region from the
west on Wednesday giving strong to gale force southerlies especially
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti.
