Issued 8:00 PM AST 10 December 2025 Tonight and Thursday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight trough located over East Scotian Slope.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Thursday departing trough located over Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 990 mb located over southern Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Thursday low 982 mb located over the northern
Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:44 PM AST 10 December 2025 A trough of low pressure over East Scotian Slope will track
northeastward across the southern marine district this evening.
Strong to gale force southerly winds are forecast ahead of this
feature.

A low pressure system over Southern Quebec will track across New
Brunswick Thursday morning to lie over Northern Gulf of St. Lawrence
waters Thursday afternoon. Strong to gale force easterly winds are
forecast ahead of the low. Strong to gale force westerly winds are
expected south of the low late in the day Thursday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore,
LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau -
southeastern half, Laurentian Fan and Anticosti - northwestern half.

Additionally, a freezing spray warning is in effect for Anticosti -
northwestern half.
