Marine District.
At 10:00 a.m. ADT Monday low 988 mb located over the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday low 988 mb located over southern Quebec.
At 10:00 a.m. ADT today departing low 992 mb located east of
Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:48 AM ADT 15 March 2026 A low pressure system east of Newfoundland will continue to trackfurther away from the region today. Strong to gale force
northwesterly winds in the wake of the low will diminish as a ridge
of high pressure builds in from the west.
A disturbance near the Great Lakes Monday morning will move eastward
throughout the day. Increasing southerly winds will reach gale force
across most of the region ahead of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
regions except Northumberland Strait - western half and
Chaleur-Miscou.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Anticosti - northern half.
