Issued 3:30 PM ADT 23 May 2018 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today dissipating trough located from New Brunswick
to Cabot Strait.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today intensifying low 1011 mb located near
Sable Island.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Thursday departing low 994 mb located northeast
of Banquereau.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Thursday ridge located near Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday ridge located over Georges Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:11 PM ADT 23 May 2018 An intensifying low pressure system near Sable Island will move to
lie over Banquereau this evening then will move northeast of
Newfoundland Thursday morning. Strong southerlies ahead of the low
will increase to gale force over southeastern waters, followed by
strong to possibly gale force northerlies.

Marine interest are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan.
