By 10:00 a.m. AST Monday ridge located southeast of the Marine
District.
At 3:00 a.m. AST Monday approaching trough located over Quebec.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:23 PM AST 8 December 2019 A ridge of high pressure over the Gulf of Maine will move to liesoutheast of the marine district Monday morning. A trough of low
pressure will slowly approach the marine district from the northwest
tonight and Monday. Winds will increase to strong to gale force
southwesterlies ahead of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave
Bank, eastern shore, Sable, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait,
Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti.
