Island.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 1001 mb located over southern
Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Sunday ridge located on a line north-south over
New Brunswick.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Sunday ridge located on a line north-south over
the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday approaching low located southwest of
Georges Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:48 AM ADT 26 May 2018 A broad area of low pressure centred near Prince Edward Island will
drift eastward to lie over Southern Newfoundland this afternoon.
South of the low, strong to gale force southwesterly winds will
persist until this evening over the southern most waters until winds
switch to strong northerlies behind the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan.
