Issued 2:50 AM NST 8 February 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Labrador Sea will move southward tolie over the Strait of Belle Isle tonight, and continue southward
over Newfoundland on Monday. Strong to gale force northeasterlies
will develop to the north of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank.
