By 10:00 a.m. NST today departing low 973 mb located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador Sea.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday trough located on a line east-west over
the Strait of Belle Isle.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 976 mb located south of Banquereau.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Monday low 973 mb located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:50 AM NST 8 February 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Labrador Sea will move southward to
lie over the Strait of Belle Isle tonight, and continue southward
over Newfoundland on Monday. Strong to gale force northeasterlies
will develop to the north of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank.
