east of the Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Monday Post-tropical Storm Epsilon 943 mb located
southeast of Greenland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday approaching ridge located over the
Marine Weather StatementIssued 8:01 PM NDT 25 October 2020 At 6:30 P.M. NDT, tropical storm epsilon was located near
Latitude 46.2 north and longitude 44.3 west, or about 360 nautical
miles east-northeast of Cape Race. Maximum sustained winds were
estimated at 60 knots and central pressure at 964 MB. Epsilon is
moving east-northeastward at 40 knots.
Epsilon will transition to a post-tropical storm as it moves
northeast of the district tonight. Gale force northwesterlies in its
wake will gradually subside tonight or on Monday as epsilon moves
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.
