Issued 9:54 AM NST 12 February 2026 A low pressure system southeast of Cape Breton will track northwardtoday and cross Newfoundland to lie over the Northeast Coast by
tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterly to southeasterly winds
will spread over most waters ahead of the low today, then shift to
strong to gale force northwesterlies to southwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northeast Gulf and Northeast Coast.
