Issued 8:00 PM NDT 18 June 2024 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located over Belle Isle Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over the southern Grand
Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located south of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:53 PM NDT 18 June 2024 A trough of low pressure over Belle Isle Bank will move to lie east
of the marine district overnight. Meanwhile a ridge of high pressure
over the Grand Banks will move to lie south of the region overnight.
Gale force southwesterlies through the Strait of Belle Isle will
diminish later this evening as these features move away.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle.
