Issued 3:00 AM NST 8 December 2023 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. NST today merging low 970 mb located over Belle
Isle Bank.
At 3:00 a.m. NST today merging low 940 mb located east of Belle
Isle Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 938 mb located east
of Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:47 AM NST 8 December 2023 A low pressure system over Belle Isle Bank will merge with a deep low
east of the Belle Isle Bank. The resulting low will remain
quasi-stationary east of the marine district throughout the forecast
period. Strong to gale force north to westerlies will persist over
all waters today and tonight. On Saturday, winds over eastern waters
will increase to gale to storm force northwesterlies while winds over
western waters begin to diminish.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters.
