Issued 8:00 PM NDT 18 October 2018 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 987 mb located northeast
of The Bonavista Peninsula.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday low 986 mb located east of the Marine
District.

By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday approaching ridge located over the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:00 PM NDT 18 October 2018 A low pressure system just northeast of the island will gradually
deepen as it tracks over the Funk Island Bank overnight, before
moving out to sea late in the day on Friday. Strong to gale force
northeasterlies will continue north of the low while strong to gale
force southwesterlies are expected to its south. Winds will diminish
to moderate to strong westerlies as the low departs on Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
