of Labrador.
At 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday deepening low 1003 mb located west of
Laurentian Fan.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday low 987 mb located over the South Coast
of Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:47 PM NST 12 November 2025 An intense low pressure system over Northern Labrador is expected toweaken as it moves northward towards Baffin Island this evening.
Strong to gale force south to southwesterlies will diminish tonight
as the low pulls away.
On Thursday another low pressure system is expected to approach from
the southwest and rapidly deepen as it track towards Southeastern
Newfoundland. Strong to gale force southeast to northeasterlies will
develop over southern waters on Thursday afternoon. Winds will shift
to strong to gale force southwesterlies behind the low Thursday
evening.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northeast Coast.
