At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Saturday dissipating trough from low located
east of the Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:50 PM NST 12 December 2025 A stalled low pressure system southeast of the Labrador Sea willfinally start to move eastward Saturday evening. A trailing trough
from the low will sweep from west to east, crossing Newfoundland
tonight and early Saturday morning. Strong to gale force northwest to
southwesterlies will persist tonight and Saturday across most waters
due to these features.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Gulf waters.
