the Marine District.
At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight intensifying trough located on a line
north-south over New England.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday trough located on a line north-south
over the Maritimes.
At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located from Quebec to the Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday departing ridge located over
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:21 PM ADT 22 October 2019 A weakening low pressure system southwest of the marine district will
be absorbed by a trough of low pressure approaching from the west
tonight. The trough will track eastward across the marine district on
Strong easterly winds north of the weakening low will increase to
strong to gale force southeasterlies tonight and spread eastward over
much of the marine district on Wednesday ahead of the trough,
shifting to strong westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Fundy, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope,
Banquereau, and Laurentian Fan.
