over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing ridge located on a line
north-south over Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located over the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday trough located from Labrador to Prince
Edward Island.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight Hurricane Epsilon 968 mb located at
35.6N 61.7W.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday Hurricane Epsilon 968 mb located at
40.3N 56.7W.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:22 PM ADT 23 October 2020 At 12:00 P.M. ADT, hurricane epsilon was located near latitude 34.1
north and longitude 61.6 west or approximately 200 nautical miles
northeast of Bermuda. Maximum sustained winds were estimated at 75
knots and central pressure at 968 MB. Epsilon is moving north at 9
knots.

Epsilon is expected to make a turn to the northeast on Saturday and
pass through the Southern Grand Banks on Sunday as a hurricane or
strong post-tropical storm.

Strong to gale force east to northeast winds are expected to develop
over southern waters between hurricane epsilon and a ridge of high
pressure to its northeast.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan.
