Issued 3:00 AM ADT 12 April 2026 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today departing low 1004 mb located over western
Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today approaching ridge located west of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday approaching low 1000 mb located near the
St. Lawrence River.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:33 AM ADT 12 April 2026 A low pressure system over Western Newfoundland will continue to pull
away from the marine district with a building ridge behind. Strong to
gale force northwesterlies will continue over eastern waters today in
the wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen -
northeastern half, and Anticosti.
