Issued 3:00 AM AST 2 January 2025 Today Tonight and Friday At 3:00 a.m. AST today low 994 mb located over southwestern New
Brunswick.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Friday low 985 mb located over eastern Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:49 AM AST 2 January 2025 A low pressure system over Southwestern New Brunswick will slowly
track northward to lie over Eastern Quebec by Friday evening. Strong
to gale force southeasterlies ahead of this feature will shift to
strong to gale force westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except eastern shore, Northumberland Strait, gulf -
Magdalen - southwestern half and Chaleur - Miscou.
