Issued 8:00 PM AST 28 February 2021 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing low 998 mb located northeastof Banquereau.
At 10:00 a.m. AST Monday deepening low 1000 mb located over the
Gulf of Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Monday low 984 mb located near Prince Edward
Island.
At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located over central Nova Scotia.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Monday weakening ridge located over Laurentian
Fan.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:49 PM AST 28 February 2021 A low pressure system northeast of Banquereau continues to departlate this evening. Strong to gale force northwesterly winds will
diminish tonight in its wake. A second low pressure system will
develop over the Gulf of Maine Monday morning and will move to lie
near Prince Edward Island by Monday evening. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies developing ahead of this strengthening low will shift
to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
maritime waters except for Northumberland Strait - western half and
Chaleur-Miscou.
