Gale warning in effect.

Wind southwest 15 to 20 knots diminishing to light near noon then increasing to southeast 40 this evening with gusts to 55 in the Wreckhouse area this evening and gusts to 70 in the Wreckhouse area overnight. Wind diminishing to southeast 35 early Tuesday morning with gusts to 50 in the Wreckhouse area. Wind diminishing to west 20 to 25 late Tuesday morning then increasing to westerly 35 Tuesday afternoon.

Rain beginning this evening changing to scattered flurries Tuesday evening. Fog patches forming near midnight and dissipating Tuesday morning.

Issued 10:00 AM AST 29 November 2021 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. AST today trough located over the western Marine
District.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday intensifying trough located from East
Scotian Slope to the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

By 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday trough located from the Grand Banks
to Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:48 AM AST 29 November 2021 An approaching trough will move across the region today to lie from
East Scotian Slope to the Gulf of St. Lawrence tonight. Strong to
gale force south to southeasterlies ahead of the trough will become
strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
regions except Fundy, Grand Manan, Northumberland Strait - western
half, Chaleur - Miscou and Anticosti - western half.

Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.

Tuesday..Winds northwesterly 25 to 30 knots backing to west 25 in the
morning then to westerly 15 to 20 in the evening. Seas 2 to 3 metres
becoming 1 to 2 in the evening.

Wednesday..Wind southwesterly 15 to 20 becoming southwest 25 in the
afternoon and then west 15 in the evening. Seas near 1 metre in the
morning becoming 2 metres late in the day.

Thursday..Winds southwesterly 15 becoming southwesterly 25 in the
afternoon. Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Tuesday..Winds northwesterly 25 to 30 knots backing to west 25 in the
afternoon and to west 15 to 20 in the evening. Seas 2 to 3 metres
