Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Friday approaching trough located over Ontario.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:00 AM AST 14 November 2019 A cold strong to gale force west to northwesterly flow will diminish
to light by this afternoon as a ridge of high pressure builds over
the Maritimes. As the ridge moves eastward and a trough approaches
from the west, winds will increase to strong to gale force
southerlies overnight tonight and Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwestern shore, eastern shore,
Fourchu, Banquereau - northern half, Cabot Strait, and all of the
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.

Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.

Lfa36 today..Winds northwest 15 becoming light early this morning
then increasing to southwest 10 to 15 late this afternoon and south
20 this evening then to south 30 overnight. Seas less than 1 metre
building to 1 to 2 metres overnight.

Friday..Winds south 30 knots increasing to southwest 35 in the
morning. Seas 1 to 2 metres increasing to 2 to 3 in the morning.
Choppy seas in the afternoon.

Lfa38 today..Winds north 20 becoming light early this morning then
increasing to southwest 15 this afternoon and southwest 20 this
evening, then to southwest 35 overnight. Seas less than 1 metre this
morning building to 1 to 2 metres this evening.

Friday..Winds southwest 35 diminishing to west 25 in the evening.
Seas 1 to 2 metres increasing to 2 to 3 in the morning. Choppy seas
in the afternoon.
