A low pressure system will approach rapidly from the southwest early
Sunday morning and intensify as it tracks across southern slope
waters. Gale to storm force winds are expected over southern waters
on Sunday, with a short period of hurricane force winds near the
track of the low centre.
Marine interests are advised that hurricane warning are in effect for
West Scotian Slope and East Scotian Slope. Storm warning are in
effect for Georges Bank and Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in
effect for browns, lahave, Sable, Banquereau and Cabot.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half,
Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait, and all Gulf of St. Lawrence
