Issued 8:00 PM ADT 17 May 2026 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from Newfoundland to East
Scotian Slope.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday departing trough located southeast of the
Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday ridge located on a line north-south over
New England.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday ridge located over the southern Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:23 PM ADT 17 May 2026 A trough of low pressure over southern waters will continue tracking
eastward across the district tonight. Strong southwest winds ahead of
the trough will veer to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its
wake before diminishing on Monday as a ridge approaches.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half.
