Issued 10:00 AM ADT 31 August 2026 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today trough located over Banquereau to East
Scotian Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located over the Gulf of Maine.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday weakening ridge located over the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:47 AM ADT 31 August 2026 A trough of low pressure from Banquereau to East Scotian Slope will
move southeastward across the marine district today. Strong
southwesterlies ahead of the trough will veer to moderate to strong
northwesterlies in its wake. Over southeastern offshore waters, a
brief period of strong to gale force northwesterlies are forecast as
the trough passes.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau - southern half and Laurentian Fan.
