Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:30 PM ADT 2 April 2020 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 972 mb located over southern West
Scotian Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 972 mb located over Georges Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Friday low 975 mb located west of Georges Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Friday low 988 mb located southwest of Georges
Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:24 PM ADT 2 April 2020 A low pressure system over the Southern West Scotian Slope will
continue slowly westward into Georges Bank tonight. The low will then
move southwestward away from the district later on Friday. Gale to
near storm force northeasterlies will continue over the southern
marine district this afternoon and overnight while strong to gale
force northeasterlies build elsewhere. Winds will gradually diminish
late on Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northumberland Strait, Chaleur - Miscou, and Anticosti
- northwestern half.
