Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 8:00 PM ADT 29 April 2025 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 993 mb located over southern Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday low 989 mb located near Anticosti Island.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located over the southern Marine
District.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday departing ridge located over the
southeastern Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:45 PM ADT 29 April 2025 A low pressure system over Southern Quebec will track northeast
towards the marine district tonight to lie near Anticosti Island by
Wednesday afternoon. Strong southwesterlies ahead of the low shift to
strong to gale force northwesterlies behind it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.

      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
