Issued 3:30 PM ADT 9 October 2026 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today departing trough located east of the Marine
District.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday trough located north of Anticosti Island.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Saturday trough located on a line east-west
over Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Saturday approaching ridge located over New
England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:23 PM ADT 9 October 2026 Strong westerly winds tonight will veer to strong to gale force
northwesterlies on Saturday ahead of an approaching trough of low
pressure. Winds will ease Saturday night as a ridge approaches the
district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen -
northeastern half, and Anticosti - southwestern half.
