Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:44 AM AST 29 November 2020 A low pressure system is forecast to develop south of the Great Lakes
on Monday bringing strong to gale force southeast winds to western
waters Monday evening and then spreading eastward into the overnight.

Outlook for the start of the southwest lobster fishery.

Today...Winds westerly 15 knots diminishing to light this evening.

Monday...Winds south 15 knots increasing to southeast 20 to 25 near
noon then 25 to 30 late in the afternoon and increasing to 35 late in
the evening. Seas near 1 metre increasing to 1 to 2 metres in the
afternoon and to 2 to 3 metres in the evening.

Tuesday...Winds southeast 40 knots. Seas 4 to 6 metres.

Wednesday...Winds southwest 10 to 15 knots increasing to south 15 to
20 in the afternoon and to 20 to 25 in the evening.

Today...Winds northwest 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 in the
evening and to light by midnight.

Monday...Winds light increasing to south 10 to 15 knots in the
morning and 15 by noon. Winds increasing to southeast 20 to 25 in the
evening. Seas near 1 metre building to 1 to 2 metres in the evening.

Tuesday...Winds southeast 25 to 35 knots increasing to 35 by noon.
