Issued 10:00 AM ADT 15 October 2018 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located over the Maritimes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today intensifying low 1007 mb located near the
Great Lakes.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday intensifying low 980 mb located over
Anticosti Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:59 AM ADT 15 October 2018 An intensifying low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from
the Great Lakes tonight and by Tuesday morning track over the
Northern Gulf of St. Lawrence. Gale to storm force southerly winds
will develop ahead of this system. South and west of the low winds
will be generally gale force but will reach storm force over parts of
the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the eastern marine district.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and
Anticosti - southern half. Gale warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters.
