By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday low 978 mb located east of the Marine
District.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over Funk Island Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight dissipating trough located on a line
east-west over the southern Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over New England.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:45 AM NST 26 November 2024 A trough of low pressure over Funk Island Bank will sweep southward
today before dissipating over the Southern Grand Banks tonight.
Strong to gale force north to northeasterlies north of the trough
will diminish today as the trough weakens.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Port au Port, East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Northeast
Coast, and Funk Island Bank.
